Memberships

Sell monthly or yearly memberships from your own Stripe account.

A membership is your own recurring business with your members, so it runs on your Stripe account and you're the seller. Your bookings keep paying out where they do today.

  • Subscriptions, handled

Stripe renews every membership, issues the invoices and retries failed payments, all on your account.

  • You're the seller

Members see your name on their statement and invoices. You decide on refunds and answer disputes in your Stripe Dashboard.

  • Tax when you need it

Turn on Stripe Tax in your Dashboard if your memberships carry VAT. Association dues often don't.

  • Bank transfer for yearly plans

Members can pay a yearly plan by bank transfer to bank details in your name.

  • Payouts to your bank

Stripe pays out to your bank on the schedule you set in your Dashboard.

Members pay into your Stripe account. Two fees come off each payment: a flat 3% membership fee for Spotcast, and Stripe's usual processing fees, which Stripe bills to your account (Stripe pricing).

    Start in the Memberships tab

Open a profile's Memberships tab and choose Set up payments.

    Tell Stripe about your business

Stripe asks for your business and bank details. It takes a few minutes.

    Go live

Your plans go live as soon as Stripe lets your account take payments. You can draft them before that.

One setup covers all your profiles. Selling memberships needs the Solo+ or Agency plan. Your booking payouts stay under Payouts in your account settings.
